How great is it to be able to put a flower arrangement together and give to a family member, neighbor or friend? and how special that the flowers came from your very own yard. Check out this beautiful arrangment I gave to my Mom. It's pretty easy with the items and flowers I have grown. So check out the below of what was in this vase:
Phlox (I bought a seed packet of mixed color phlox about 5 years ago and these have been coming up every years since and OMG! was it the best thing ever! The pop of color in this area and the shades of colors have been gorgeous. (seed packets!! so easy and inexpensive.
coral Knock out Roses - Okay, so I'm not a huge rose fan - they have a tendency to be "high maintenance"; however, when it comes to coral or peach (and yellow), I'm kind of a sucker and will forget the work and be happy I just have them.
Tea Olive branches - Thankyou Rita, my neighbor, for sharing!
Fern (Always have some beautiful ferns in the shady part of my yard!!
Mason Jar - Always, Always, have mason jars on hand. They are so good for so many things!!
There you have it. Look how beautiful this turned out!! Go find you some seeds and get them in the ground!! We'll work on the roses and ferns later!!
